    Police Blotter

    Screening Visitors--Oct. 21, 7 p.m. An unknown suspect removed the screen door to a residence on La Vonne Drive and entered the residence, although no property was taken.

    High-Tech Theft--Oct. 22, 8:57 a.m. Two laptops, laptop bags, a computer, three Palm Pilots and other items were taken from the Campbell Union School District's corporation yard on N. Harrison Avenue. There was no evidence of a forced entry, and no alarms went off at the time of the burglary.

    Church Burglary--Oct. 23, 9:40 a.m. Two San Jose men were booked into jail after someone reported that they were seen putting stolen items in a car that was parked in a church parking lot on Hamilton Avenue. Additional property that the suspects took from the same location a day prior was recovered from the vehicle.

    Missing Parts--Oct. 23. An unknown suspect removed car parts from a White Oaks Avenue resident's 1979 Chevrolet Nova.

    Gut Feeling--Oct. 24, 11:41 p.m. A woman reported that her boyfriend, who was intoxicated at the time, kicked her in the stomach twice after she went to his house to retrieve a car she'd loaned him. The woman was transported to a hospital after she complained of pain.

    On the Job--Oct. 25, 8:13 p.m. An employee at a business on S. Winchester Avenue was booked into jail after he came to work drunk. After his manager confiscated the man's scooter and called the Campbell Police Department, the employee left the business and was later picked up by an officer.

    Crossing Over--Oct. 25, 10:30 p.m. A man was booked into jail after an officer observed him crossing against the light at San Tomas Expressway and nearly being hit by traffic. The man was found to be intoxicated.

    Noisy Neighbor--Oct. 25, 11:01 p.m. A Beta Court resident was booked into jail after police received two calls from disturbed neighbors because he was playing his music loudly.

    Parking Lot Beating--Oct. 26, 1:05 a.m. A man was transported to a hospital after he was beaten by three men in a parking lot on W. Campbell Avenue. The victim had been selling stolen items given to him by the three men, all 22, and the suspects beat the man after they found out he would not sell the items any longer. The suspects are still at large.
