Local art studio holds 'glass canvas' show
Downtown Campbell's new Heartworks Studio, 311 E. Campbell Ave., is holding an art show Nov. 1618.
Studio co-owner and Campbell resident Debbie Arambula will have her "glass canvas" art available. She paints on glass and also paints vases and wineglasses.
Co-owner Carolyn Larsen, who teaches classes at the Kensington Art Center in downtown Campbell, will be selling her oil and watercolor paintings.
Food is available at the show, which runs noon to 9 p.m. Nov. 16 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 17 and 18, and local band TRIVOX will perform Nov. 18.
The studio, which opened two weeks ago, is open during the week and will hold a grand opening celebration in January, Arambula said. For more information, call 408.806.6096.
Church to hold interfaith service
The Campbell Ministerial Association is sponsoring an interfaith Thanksgiving service Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Congregational Church of Campbell, 400 W. Campbell Ave.
Ministers from local churches will participate, and a community choir will perform two anthems. Refreshments will be served after the service.

Holiday festivities at Ainsley House
Campbell's 1925 Tudor Revival Ainsley House, 300 Grant St., is getting decked out for the holidays and will be on display Nov. 23 through Dec. 16.
Regular guided tours are offered Thursday through Sunday noon to 4 p.m., $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and $2.50 for youth. The house has a holiday boutique offering a variety of gift items, Christmas ornaments, toys and tea items. Teas are also available by reservation at 408.374.7688.
In addition, the historic building is the site for the Tea, Tour and Vintage Jewelry Fashion Show, for $30, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Dec. 1 and 2, as well as the Holiday Tea and Tours, for $18, at 2 p.m. on Dec. 3, 4 and 5.
